(This is embarrassing to admit now, but on my first day at BuzzFeed, I made a Devil Wears Prada joke on social media, sharing a photo of my outfit with a caption that referenced Andy’s first day as an assistant at Runway magazine in the original film, when she wore a hideously plain outfit with that cerulean sweater.)
