The Celtics never held a lead larger than a single point.Embiid led the way with 34 points, 12 rebounds and six assists. The 76ers’ star didn’t make it look easy, appearing to suffer injuries at several points during the game.Tyrese Maxey contributed to the victory with 30 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the 76ers. Rookie VJ Edgecombe produced 23 points, six rebounds and four assists.Without Jayson Tatum available, Jaylen Brown and Derrick White tried to carry the offense for Boston in a losing effort.
