    Updated May 1, 2026, 3:19 p.m. ETUPDATE: This story has been updated to include a statement from a representative for Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson.A longtime former executive for Curtis Jackson, known more commonly as "50 Cent," has sued the rapper for what she describes as a "years-long campaign of retaliation" that matches his public vendetta-focused persona.The lawsuit, filed in the U.S District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, alleges Jackson harassed, threatened and ultimately fired the executive, identified as Monique Mayers, when she refused to participate in illegal behavior."Curtis Jackson has cultivated a public persona as '50 Cent' built on highly publicized feuds and attacks on former associates, but as alleged in the complaint, this conduct is not performance, and it has real‑world consequences," Bennitta Joseph, representing Mayers, said in a statement. "Mr. Jackson's actions have caused serious harm to personal and professional lives and, in Ms. Mayers' case, created a sustained and credible fear for her safety.
