Yet, it appears Carlos Mendoza will survive this three-game series in Anaheim, California, unlike Willie Randolph.Mets president of baseball operations David Stearns told MLB.com that the 10-21, last-place Mets "don't view this as a manager problem, and don't intend to make a change."That will surely come as at least a temporary relief for Mendoza, their third-year manager who has parried numerous inquiries about his job security as the Mets' season continues deteriorating.
